Why Jade
Often Known as the “Stone of Heaven” Jade has a rich history in many cultures. The Mayans believed in its healing power and thought it to be a symbol of love and it has continued to be a cornerstone of Guatemalan culture since then.
There are 2 types of Jade:Nephrite and Jadeite. Due to its rarity Jadeite is considered the most valuable form of Jade and can only be found in very few places including Myramar and Guatemala. We are proud to say that all of our Jade pieces at Jades & More are made from Guatemalan Jadeite.
Jade comes in a wide range of colors from rich greens to bright lavenders, intense blacks and vibrant blues, and stones vary in brightness and clarity making them one of a kind pieces. Our carefully curated collection showcases the beauty and versatility of this exquisite gemstone.

This is why we exclusively partner with local Guatemalan artisans creating each handmade piece. We select each piece of Jade with utmost care, ensuring that it meets our high standards of quality and authenticity.
We are a women-owned and operated business and believe in giving back to the community which is why a percentage of every sale goes back to the artisans local town in Antigua, Guatemala.
